Functions

A function basically relates an input to an output, there’s an input, a relationship and an output. For every input there is only one output. This relationship between two variables is the most important in mathematics. We want to understand the behavior of this relationship, in particular the domain, range, intercepts, parity, asymptotes, extreme points, and we want to draw the graph.
